LAB MANAGER AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Heloisa F. Galbiati Belmonte holds an MSc in Microbiology from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and a PhD in Microbiology and Biotechnology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Following her studies, she moved to Bergen, where she took on a role combining research and laboratory management as a Department Engineer at the Sars Centre. Building on this experience, she brought her expertise to the startup Ocean TuniCell AS in a similar position. In 2023, Heloisa became Lab Manager for the DECODE-PD group at the K.G. Jebsen Center and, in 2025, assumed the role of Communications Officer for the group.
