Kristoffer Haugarvoll has an MD from the University of Göttingen. He is a neurologist with expertise in movement disorders, dementia and neurodegenerative disease. He did his PhD at the Department of Neuroscience at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, studying genetics of Parkinson’s disease (PD). He currently focuses on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and Lewy body disease (LBD), i.e. Parkinson’s disease and dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB).
