Gonzalo Nido has a PhD in gene regulation from the Computer Science Department of the University of Otago, New Zealand. He is a bioinformatician with expertise in gene expression and mitochondrial genetics of neurodegeneration. His current work is centered in gene expression control in human brain, specifically in Parkinson Disease.
