Geir Olve Skeie has an MD and PhD from the University of Bergen. He is a consultant neurologist at the Department of Neurology and Senior Researcher at NEUROSYSMED, Haukeland University hospital. He has been a part of the PARKVEST study since 2004 doing mainly clinical research focusing on Parkinson’s Disease. He also has an interest in music and the brain and is professor II at the Department of Music, The Griegacademy, University of Bergen.
