PhD STUDENT
Anna obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Turin in 2019 and a master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Trieste in 2022. During her Master, she was awarded an Erasmus+ Scholarship to study at the University of Helsinki, where she developed her master’s thesis studying how antidepressants and psychedelics induce cortical plasticity. She joined the group in February 2023 as a P.h.D. student. Her research focuses on mitochondrial dysfunction and its possible role in the stratification of idiopathic Parkinson’s disease.
